The Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to welcome His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Consort to Liverpool on 26th April 2023. Their Majesties visited the M&S Bank Arena to view the arrangements for Eurovision, before moving onto the Central Library in William Brown Street to mark the twinning of the library with the M. S. Hrushevsky Scientific Library of Odesa. The Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Vadym Prystaiko also joined the visit and was able to speak with Ukrainian Nationals currently living in Liverpool and Sefton.
