On Saturday 2nd November 2024 the Lord-Lieutenant, Vice Lord-Lieutenant and several Deputy Lieutenants attended the inaugural fundraising gala ball of the Merseyside and West Lancashire Royal British Legion. The aim of the ball was to raise funds for the RBL. Guests were greeted with a Guard of Honour from all three forces’ cadets and the Royal British Legion Standard Bearers – an amazing sight – and later treated to a tremendous display from the Liverpool Scottish Pipes and Drums. Many congratulations to the President, Mr. Roy Gladdon, for a hugely successful evening.
