Sue Higginson OBE DL visited the Wirral Deen Centre in Birkenhead recently on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant.
Sue wanted to thank Ibrahim Syed and the team at the Centre for their warm welcome.
Sue said, “I was delighted to visit on behalf of our Lord-Lieutenant Mark Blundell and hear about the amazing work they do in the Wirral Community. There are so many aspects to their community work including the soup kitchen, homework club, litter picking, food bank and partnerships with other voluntary groups are so valuable. Thank you for your great community work and I look forward to hearing more about the difference it is making to many people in the community.”
