Following a service led by Revd. David Gamble, Mr. Robert Owen JP DL laid a wreath on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant at the graveside of LCpl Peter Eustace of The RIFLES, killed in action in Afghanistan on 16th November 2011. Also attending was the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr Richard Kemp CBE and Lady Mayoress Alderwoman Erica Kemp CBE and members of The RIFLES, present and past including Lt.Col. Sean McEvoy BEM (retired), County Colonel of the Rifles Merseyside, Sgt. Nwagu and Cpl Miles, in support of Peter’s family at this annual remembrance. Never Forgotten.
