Liam Hanlon DL attended the HQ North Formation Day event at Catterick Garrison on Friday 19th July 2024.
It was a pleasure to attend at such a prestigious landmark military event.
Liam was hosted by senior offices of the 4th Light Brigade Combat Team, and enjoyed presentations form the Commander, Brigadier Rob Singleton and Commander North, Colonel Peter Stitt about the Formation of the new HQ North.
Liam was given a tour of the Army attractions and Charity stands and met with many of the regular and reserve service soldiers. Liam was an honorary guest for the battalion Parade and present for the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant by several North Yorkshire companies.
It was especially inspiring talking to the Army Cadet Force members about the role of the Lord-Lieutenant and how it connects with all aspects of the community and society.
