The Lord-Lieutenant attended the Civic Service organised by the Lord-Mayor of Liverpool in St. John’s Gardens on 6th June. It was an emotional service, showing gratitude to the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom, and also to those who came back home. It was a timely reminder of the value of peace, lest we forget.
