David Steer KC DL presented the top four awards namely, a Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award, a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, the last of the Queen’s Scout Awards within Merseyside Scouts and the first of the new King’s Scout Awards on 30th September.
The Queen and King Scout Awards mark the pinnacle of a young person’s achievements in Scouts. The Awards are confirmation that the individuals have demonstrated the courage, kindness and commitment to tackle anything in life, helping others and serving their communities. They take many years to achieve.
The photographs also include a young boy who was presented with a Squirrel Award and a group that had received the Chief Scout’s Gold Award.
A wonderful day was had by all.
