On 20th and 21st September Julie Lawson DL represented the Lord-Lieutenant on visits to several care homes in Sefton: Active Minds Day Centre in Crosby, Home from Home Sefton in Maghull, The Cloisters in Blundellsands and Cambridge Court Care Home in Waterloo. Alzheimer’s and Dementia care are subjects close to Julie’s heart and she felt that the warmth and compassion shown was lovely to see, along with long serving staff and the variety of activities and trips that were arranged for their visitors.
