David Steer DL attended the Merseymoot on 9th September along with the High Sheriff of Merseyside, Dr. Ruth Hussey, the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr Mary Rasmussen, the Mayor of Knowsley, Cllr Eddie Connor and the Mayor of West Lancashire Cllr Maureen Nixon. There were 1,200 scouts in attendance and the visitors took part in archery, tomahawk throwing and rifle shooting. They were provided with a thoroughly enjoyable tour of the Tawd Vale Adventure Centre and the visit was rounded off with afternoon tea!
