The Vice Lord-Lieutenant made a visit to Mr. John Tinniswood on the occasion of his 111th birthday at The Hollies Rest Home in Southport on Saturday 26th August 2023. Mr. Tinniswood was surrounded by his family and friends and told of his memories of the soldiers returning from the First World War marching through Liverpool! A truly amazing and inspirational individual. Happy Birthday John!
